Ethical Society Mid Rivers

Since we are a society of free religious thought, the beliefs of our members are varied and include atheism, agnosticism, deism, theism, etc. Occasionally a member or a visiting speaker or musician may share their personal thoughts about God, but in general we are a non-theistic, Humanist organization that talks and sings about human life and nature. We do not have organized prayer times in our services.

We strive to be a welcoming place for introverts and extroverts alike.

Every Wednesday,
7:00 p.m to 9:00 p.m.

Join this group of people, the hosts & members of which vary from week to week, as we discuss the role that ethics plays in our everyday lives. The discussions are lively & casual, providing intellectual stimulation and fellowship.

Guests are always welcome. Newcomers fit right in. The discovery is that our ethical sensitivity is sharper and stronger after every session.  Light snacks are served.

Contact Chuck Fish via email for the host's home of the week and/or to be placed on the weekly mailing list announcing the current topic & location.

Every fall, the Ethical Society of MId Rivers participates in the Oktoberfest celebration on the St. Charles riverfront. Traditionally, we sell knackwurst sandwiches and various craft items, while letting passersby know all about our organization.

For the past several years, the Ethical Society of MId Rivers has hosted an annual trivia night fundraiser. These events are always well attended and provide great fun to those who participate.

Our next trivia night is scheduled for Spring of 2017.  Soon we will have a date for you, so please check back soon.
